Dirk Vangeel began his model building career when he received a model kit from his parents

on his 8th birthday. A few hours later the kit was finished.

 

begin 80's he started to take his detailed models to V.H.M. (Verenigde Herentalse modelbouwers),

that was the beginning of a long modeling career.

 

During the 90's he was employed as a pattern maker for different belgian- and foreign model companies

where he got the opportunity to skill himself even further, together with his friends

Jef Verswyvel and Willy Peeters.

 

In 2002 with a few good friends Jan Goos and Rudi Meir, he started his own company know as

"Pro Art Models" , he got worldwide recognition for his accurate update sets on 1/35 scale.
